Rest of the life

Nothing remains
But memory with pain
Some leave behind happiness
To be borne always on face

But behind it
Lies reason to greet
Their hard work
And affectionate words

Parents might have earned
And gave in turn
Everything for children
To make lovely home and happily driven

So we remember
Our elders
And ancestors
With full respect to adore

We are happy today
In all the way
To spend
Rest of the life till an end
