Restore Cd Poem by Simon Gowen

Restore Cd

Rating: 5.0

My CD player's packed away
A relic of the past
It stands beside my VHS
Machines built well to last.

Now MP3's are all the rage
And downloads are so cheap
But CDs, Vinyl and Cassettes
Hold mem'ries I will keep.

A dusty CD often skips
A record scratched will jump
But MP3's will always play
Through ev'ry knock and bump.

Cassettes would jam In dirty heads
We'd save them with a pen
Wind them on they're good to go
But will they play again?

So just as I had given in
To tech shipped in from Asia
Snow Globe has restored my faith
The CD from Erasure.

Also available from iTunes! !
