Reveal Us To The World Poem by Linda Barnes

Reveal Us To The World

Rating: 5.0

What runs through your mind
When I see you look at me
Is it a look of lust
Or do you see the real me

It's the spark in your eyes
A hint of passion
Subtle and confusing
Masculine and alive

I squirm from your attention
Looking around to others
Am I the only one who sees
Warmth and friction

Are you reliving
Nights we have shared
Or are you anticipating
What will happen next

Are you trying to be coy
As though no one knows
To be inconspicuous
Without saying a word

Listen to me lover
To share my bed
Come to me at night
But reveal us to the world
