Revelation Poem by Marieta Maglas

Revelation

Rating: 5.0

I saw an angel with a wounded wing
And two drops of blood
As a fractured image.
I felt the pain of that angel
Inside of me.

It was a touch.

I saw the light of a burning candle
And its drops of wax
As a fractured love
I felt the sadness of that love
Inside of me.

It was a touch.

I heard the Words of God
Between drops of silence
And fractured sounds.
I felt the happiness
Inside of me.

It was a touch.

In this light,
The angel
Was talking to me.
I am awakened.

Hauntingly beautiful. Vivid imagery presents a glowing scenerio - one of inner contemplation and understanding. A deeply introspective write - brilliant! Linda :)

From : Deborah Cromer (United States ;) To : Marieta Maglas Date Time : 6/6/2009 3: 12: 00 PM (GMT -6: 00) Subject : Revelation Your last line' And I feel the light, That absorbs the darkness, is awesome. Intense, and highly done. It made me think. I went there, to find the feeling. What I felt like, feeling the light, absorbing darkness. Good work. You have powerful words too. Deborah Cromer
