Riding Air Ways Poem by RoseAnn V. Shawiak

Riding Air Ways

Riding airways above earth after jumping from an airplane,
soaring and falling at the same time, nothing to worry
about at all.

Replacing fear with faith in God alone, an energy of hope
stilling this excited heart with a quiet repose and vibrant
energy.

Raising a voice of exhilaration to a fever-pitch in the
wake of plunging closer and closer to the earth, soon to
touch down upon it.

Doing so with a spirit rejoicing and soul contemplating
the wonder of God in this dangerous game of Russian
roulette that brings satisfaction and an adrenaline rush
each and every time, jumping from a plane in the sky.
