Rights Are Equal Poem by Mehta Hasmukh Amathaal

Rights Are Equal

Rights are equal

Nobody has right to interpret
And state
In unrelated manner
As it affects mother

She has remained always good
The role of female is not properly understood
She had been seen as merely our partner
For growing children here

Now scenario has changed
Equal rights are granted
She has every right to be fully protected
And no role against should be played

The females have played greater role
In shaping our life with every call
They have stood courageously to defend
And look result at the end?

They are discriminated against
Raped, molested and not treated best
They witness domestic violence
And this adds sad chapter in human relation

Many laws have been enacted
For them to be rightly placed
They are our priced asset
So allow them to mushroom and blossom at
