I won’t deny
But I won’t try too
For others to contest
About wisdom as best

I know about my faith
That shall remain till death
Why should I ever think?
About others and sink?

Let that stupid thing be set aside!
The differences may be very wide
Why should I forget about light?
Why can not I forget it as reason to fight?

Why should bother if it is called by different name
Why should I yield sword and forcefully claim?
Follow my way of living else get prepared for death
How will I report it to almighty with easy breath?

I gave thought a sincere touch
Why was it coming to mind as such?
When there was no need to follow?
Any dictates that did not free movement to allow?

I hear Allah’s name in morning from mosque
I hear morning prayers from near by church
Temples offer peaceful melody in early morning
I find eternal truth in sun’s shining

I believe in each religion
As I have friends from different regions
Poetry has brought me so near
Lots of soothing words ring in my ears
