We have all had that moment when failure hits hard,
The poison of depression sets in, self-esteem gets scarred,
You feel the pressure of the world is suddenly upon you,
All your fears and doubt start to stick to you like glue,

Pay no mind to those phases for failure is a part of life,
Don't let get the better of you and stab you with its knife,
Rise up from the ashes of failure and walk towards a new start,
Make a promise of conviction and dedication within your heart,

Rise up my friend, stand on your feet while you still draw breath,
Failure is just a mere obstacle, failure is not the same as death,
You are still alive and young, you can still fight again,
Block out negative thoughts, walk through the storm of pain,

Cloud not your mind with the negativity of doubt and fear
Set the flames of courage in your soul, let your mind be clear,
Let the mistakes you make be the stepping stones you take,
Let your thirst for victory be the weapon to make failure break.
