Rumours Lies And Gossip Poem by Daya Nandan

Rumours Lies And Gossip

Rating: 5.0

I don't understand what your problem is with me,
Spreading lies constantly so destruction you can see,
Lies about me to my superiors, rumours to my friends,
Malicious intentions so the product of my hardwork ends,

Now my months of work has been ruined thanks to the devil that is you,
My work thrown at my face because of a rumour that is untrue,
And after all the drama and the destruction that was caused,
After I proved my innocence and caused each guilty face to be paused,

Nobody apologised despite all the unnecessary problems I went through,
After confidently accusing me of a made up crime that I did not do,
I am disappointed with the people in charge, whom failed to do their part,
Justice was not served, I can see now how the system is torn apart,

But in all honesty I feel more of pity rather than anger towards you,
I did not expect you to stoop so low by spreading rumours that are untrue,
Shamelessly yet silently you now watch me from a distance afar,
As you cowardly hide in guilt like the pathetic garbage you are.

You are extremely meticulous in your portrayal of someone spreading all kinds of rumours or canards against you and then would 'cowardly hide in guilt like the pathetic garbage'. Thanks. I quote: Lies about me to my superiors, rumours to my friends, Malicious intentions so the product of my hardwork ends,
