Rise With The First Ray
Rise with the first ray
Friday,16th July 2021
With darkness
my alertness
loses the face
there is no trace of conscience
when we sleep
we keep and bury
the day's tension
not to make any mention
night adores
no violence or soreness
but grants you deep snoring
and exploring in dream
with the first morning light
we give a slight jerk
get into full alertness
and face the day's work
such is a hub for humanity
where we work for peace and stability
go in for all-out performance
and seize the chance
