The rainfall of inspiration
Drops on hills of hopefulness
Where springs of creativity
Create streams of realisation
Which cross cataracts of catastrophe
Riding rapids of reflectiveness
Down the falls of fallibility
Through the valleys of vanity
Reaching rivers of reality
On plains of possibility
But then mires of mundanity
Surrounding swamps of senselessness
Lead to estuaries of inevitability
And the oceans of nothingness.
