Riveting Is The Epic Poem by Lawrence S. Pertillar

Riveting Is The Epic

Riveting.
Gut wrenching.
Sweat drenching.
Seat wetting.
Emotionally exhausting.
Is the epic!

"WHEW!
OH my GOD!
FINALLY...
Relief! "

In the end of it,
An epic that seems unending.
Does.
Although,
Leaving such an effectiveness.
It has left most viewers,
Incapable to remember...
Or accept to believe,
The experience witnessed...
Had nothing to do,
With truth or its reality.

This epic has literally,
Blown their minds away.

Towards the ending of this epic,
Guaranteed to become a classic...
Like never before to have been done.
Gone to disappear is common sense.
And everything associated,
With consciousness to exist.
Has been replaced with mental conflicts.
Division and independent thinking.
That's how riveting this epic had been.

Yet...
Blinded and following,
Behind the pied piper.
The main character,
Of this captivating 'flick'.
Many could not separate their minds,
From delusion to switch...
Quick back to reality.
Since this epic continued,
For quite a long time.

So hypnotizing,
This epic had been for them...
They were told and made convinced,
By this 'piper of all pipers'.
To follow him loyally,
On a road to imagine it...
Painted yellow gold.
And...
After the epic,
This they did do.
Rushing into the streets everywhere,
Protesting their entitlements...
They will defend and protect.
Regardless who stood in their way,
Objecting to their delusions kept.

And so it goes,
For those scratching their heads.
Disbelieving with dread.
As to how it can be...
That so many people,
Have been sold to kill reality.
Fearing the truth for them is a threat.
And determined to destroy,
Their quality of life.
Because of the frauding of a piper,
Protraying to play...
In an epic that betrays,
Reality.
Truth.
And anything associated,
With the use of common sense.

Riveting.
Gut wrenching.
Sweat drenching.
Seat wetting.
Emotionally exhausting.

"Whew.
I never thought that epic would end."

-Me either.
It was much longer than I thought,
An epic like that could be.
Especially at the end.-

"Tell me about it.
That closing scene,
With the zombies shouting...
'Kill Democracy.
Kill The TruthOf It.
And Diversity!
Kill The Evidence.
Kill The Proof! '
I had to get up and leave."

-I hear you.
Me too.
Who produced such a horror?
Thank God,
Nothing like that,
Will never become our reality! -
