Heart of gold, generous to a fault.
Intelligent, well read and articulate,
but a procrastinator extraordinaire.
He'd cancel tomorrow if he could, it
might bring a moment of decision.
Rob lives by this simple rule, put off
indefinitely that which can, that which
can't can wait a year or two, or three.
If there were more Rob's in the world
there'd be no wars, in the time it took
them to decide, they'd be too old to fight.
You have captured our reclusive Rob with great skill and affection here, my love and made a most salient political point at the same time. There would be no time for wars if someone like Rob were in charge. They'd be too busy tossing possible options around the table... A fine poem for one of the Hills' true eccentrics. love, Allie xxxx

This sounds just like my Son, Jerry, can't get him to decide on anything, and he is always putting off doing things that need doing. can't get him to set any dates or times. Such indecision drives us all mad! Perfect analysis here. Thank you for the read.
