Rostam Not Samson Poem by Nassy Fesharaki

Rostam Not Samson

Rostam not Samson

Why the hell should I care for Samson?
We do have our Rostam
Far better, more honest and a fact.

Why the hell should I care for Adam?
We have our Kiomarth
Far better, more honest and humble.

Why the hell should I care for Noah?
He comes of Ararat, stolen;
Some say that his arch is still there.

Why the hell should I care for Abram?
He was ours but was fooled
Took Lot and his sister for Pharaohs.

Why the hell should I care for Moses?
I cannot leave Jamshid
Far better and wiser, yet corrupt dictator.

Why the hell should I care for David?
He was but a liar and rapist
Sent the man to front took his wife into bed.

Why the hell should I care, no never Solomon?
About him one must to queen
She knows the story; let us ask the Sheba…

And Abel, and Jacob, Daniel
Forget them all in all, I have mine.

I cannot see Esther in line with brave girl
Heroin in the war; her name Gord Afarid…
Esther was a bed girl, betrayer, and liar
And still accepted to be base; law changer:
"Jewishness comes from the mother! "
Was it so at start? Can one take an axe and
Chop the faith of people like in farm taking weeds?

Poor were both Arash and Baptist John;
Like me they gave their lives, devoted.
