Rotab Poem by Nassy Fesharaki

Rotab

Rotab

Those who know hardly of
-the dates and palm trees
-may only have a word
-maybe two, few more
-but never as many
-as have the Arabs and
-those who mend this fruit
-planting, growing, tampering
-and at end harvesting and eating.

"Rotab" is one of best
-too dark and juiciest…

"Once, " is said:
- "…Prophet Mohammad, had a guest…"
- (holding had of her son, a mother …"

She asked the prophet for advice
-just a word to her son:
- "Do not eat dates because…"

Excellent was reply:
- "How can I? "

Prophet, had himself
-eaten dates on that day!

"How can I do it but…? "

How the hell can corrupt dictate law
-demanding the others to stop
-when they are in same shoes
-and walk in the banned route…
-dine from the same bowl?

I defend Mohammad
-not being born Muslim
-but thanks to what he said.

He must have been great…
- "Rotab" is example…
