Routine Poem by David Harris

Routine

Rating: 5.0

We get stuck in a routine
that is so filled with repetition.
In the end, you could do it
in a blind fold.
It makes life monotonous
doing the same thing.
Driving the same route
day in and day out.
I like to alter mine
slightly everyday.
In doing so, it doesn’t leave me
feeling a little like brain dead.

I agree David. Even when I'm mowing the lawn (OK grass) I like to vary the path I take and make little patterns as I go. It makes the whole process so much more interesting and the grass gets cut just the same. Another dropp of wisdom from your ever fertile pen. love, Allie ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥
