Rub The Dark Pages Poem by Mehta Hasmukh Amathaal

Rub The Dark Pages

Rub the dark pages

I wished no unrest
But wanted to extract best
Even thought it seems false imagination
Yet I believed in simple relation

I have seen devastation
Disorder and deterioration
No one is prepared lend ears
Forget about some reasons to hear

I want no more hurdles
There is heavy struggle
For survival and safety
War has ravaged the country

Let garden blossom again
Let petals show up after rain
Life has no end to its quest
It may avail chance and then rest

Let cycle repeat
And greet
The mankind with peace messages
"It is time we rub the dark pages"
