Rude Awakening Poem by Seema Jayaraman

Rude Awakening

Rating: 4.5

Bouncing in nets of sleep
carousing winky waves -
gently, I lay
grasping dreams grey
In a Castle built on clouds
- shattered my slumber
rude awakening indeed
Squabbling flock of Jade
