Are you running scared, My Darling,
Scared of what is to be?
Wishing to hold me near you,
And me, to hold thee, near me.
Will you wish to implant your kisses,
On parts of me hidden from view?
Can you wait to do so, My Darling,
And will your wants be every day too?
When will you wish to hold me?
Which parts - those hidden from view?
Will your tempestuous thoughts be with me?
Today, and all year through?
Why can you not see me daily?
Why must the time pass so slow?
When I wish to hold you near me,
And savour every minute with you.
