Rush Back Poem by Mehta Hasmukh Amathaal

Rush Back

Rush back

It had always been nature
And I am very much sure
Nothing gave me pleasure
Not even treasure

I was dreaming in my luxurious apartment
But there no happy moment
I missed something for solid reason
Where was I among crowd as person?

I had no answer
But sure nature had
The open air and birds chirping
Made me just clapping

From childhood
I spend nice time in neighborhood
It was real love with happiness
We all smiled with no heaviness

I wish to rush back
And cut cake
For birthday there and spend time
With old time friends who too might have come

Nostalgically it takes to past and opens door to lived experience.
