I was sailing down
life's river,
when i looked toward
the shore and i saw
a vision unfolding
before my eyes.
Seeing my life
past before me
mistakes, failures,
wrong decisions i had
made over and over again.
Nothing i can do about
it now, just keep going
forward doing the
best i can and
taking what life dishes out.

We all learn from our mistakes Jim, but as long as your keep trying to do the best you can, then that has got to be OK. I hope life dishes out some good things for you. This made me start thinking of all my errors, blunders and gaffes. My faults and failings and over the years, but one must not look back, as you say one must go forward and forget what came before. Nice subject to write about, and thought provoking in its content.
