Sammi - Poem by Hannah Davies

You mean the world to me
Seeing you smile fills me with glee.
Although in person we have never met
When I talk to you there is nothing to fret.

We both have had a hard time of it
But now we can help each other a bit.
You are there for me like I am there for you
I could never hate you no matter what you do.

You deserve so much more
You're such a good person right down to the core.
You have helped me in such a big way
I look forward to hearing from you every day.

When you're upset it makes me sad
That I can't be there to give you a hug, it drives me mad.
I wish I could take away all your pain
How could anyone hurt you? They must be insane.

You are like family
Someone who means so much to me.
Your family don't realise how lucky they are
To have a wonderful daughter, a truly bright star.

I hold out my hand for you to take
I care so much about you, these feelings aren't fake.
Together we can bravely move on
Keep on going til these bad times are gone.

Remain strong and we will come out on top
And together we can make all this pain and misery stop.
I will support you in whatever you do
My little sister Treacle, I love you xxx
