Sand In Hand Poem by Joseph Blitch

Sand In Hand

Life at its best; The skies are real blue;
If left to rest; It does not always run true;
Get up and dance when storms bring rain;
Storms never last; the sun will shine again;

They say that if you see a red sky at night;
The crew expects maritime to be a delight;
What if a red sky comes up in the morning?
They should be wide awake; Take warning;

To others needs we should always be alert;
Find love from deep within; Charity assert;
Look at the path; See where they have trod;
You could be there; save the grace of God;

No matter how bitter storms may seem to be;
If we look close; the tunnels light we can see;
Tiny or great; Storms come as the winds blow;
Clouds darken the sky; Water begins to flow;

Nothing is left to weather; Storms never last;
Yesterday gone; Future to come; today cast;
Make the best out of time; which is at hand;
Be mindful; in the glass ever flows the sand!

Tag: The sands of time are in your hands. Live life to its fullest for it is grand. Appreciate the precious gift God has gracefully given you. Love one another with charity. In all things be thankful and true.
