Sandman - Poem by Doom and Gloom

Did you notice that shadow at night?
That moved like a wraith at the edge of your sight.
That melted away as you turned on the light.
That my love was me

Did you hear that noise at night?
That awoke you from sleep with panic and fright
That seemed out of place & not quite right
That my love was me

Did you feel that touch at night?
Upon your throat so very tight
Until your world is burning white
That my love is me

In my opinion that first stanza stands on it's own. The poem then got darker and darker. I didn't like the last stanza but it had to be there to complete this unique piece.

    Love, Fran xx
