Sands Of Time Poem by Candika Niada

Sands Of Time

A vast array of colors
Lies beneath your feet.
Each tiny grain of sand
Placed perfectly where it should be.

White cacti here are blooming,
With blossoms of all hues.
Their fragrance so sweet
With pinks, greens, and blues.

An oasis lies before you
With palms all around.
Angelfish swim in circles,
While leaves slowly fall to the ground.

Life here is everlasting,
No burdens to be had.
Each day is filled with blessings,
Not once will you be sad.

If you find yourself lonely,
And you need a place to go,
Venture to your own place,
A place only you know.

Make it a place of tranquility,
One of solace and inner peace.
You never know what you'll find
Within your own little piece.
