കണ്ടുമുട്ടിയിരിക്കുന്നു
ഇവിടെ ഈ തെരുവിൽ
തികച്ചും അപരിചിതരെപ്പോലെ,
നാം *ആകസ്മികതയുടെ
സന്തതികളായിരുന്നു, സ്വർഗ്ഗ-
വാതിലിനു മുന്നിലൂടെ കടന്നു-
പോയിട്ടും നാമതറിഞ്ഞില്ല.
