Satisfaction Achieved Poem by Lawrence S. Pertillar

Satisfaction Achieved

Has your satisfaction,
Been achieved.
To do as you please,
Impulsively.
With a continuing to not listen.
Stubbornly to believe,
A doing of this...
Would result in tremendous,
Success ultimately.

Has this satisfaction been achieved?
With this done to accomplished,
What was intended.
And meant to be?
Are you having 2nd,
3rd,4th or 5th thoughts.
To have had listened to comprehend.
Understood to understand.
Before opening your mouth,
Without knowing a thing to spout about.
And now to wish...
For time to get,
Yourself and the embarrassment...
Of permitting to volunteer yourself,
To represent so proudly...
A foolishness too ignorant to dismiss.
Proving to those who admit themselves fools,
Rushing to an exit!

Has your satisfaction,
Been achieved?
To do as you please,
Impulsively?
With a doing to not listen.
Stubbornly refusing to believe,
A doing of this...
Would result to accomplish,
What it was that you wished?
Well...
It has.
The attention you have received,
For such a display...
Of overwhelming stupidity.
Has been done.
With no one else,
Either wanting or wishing with you...
To share the credit for it.
Congratulations!
You have earned what you deserve!
