Save Me, Before The Maggots Come Poem by Sara Hol

Save Me, Before The Maggots Come

Rating: 4.5

Through the piles of wounded bodies
my spirit does plea,
somebody come quick and revive me.

These poor unfortunate souls
never had a chance
their merciful killers
never took a second glance.

Lying upon the cold metal shelves
they try to quickly preserve themselves
...it is already too late
the maggots are coming
as their skin begins to slowly deteriorates.

Please come find me quick,
before it is my time
take this demon harvesting me away
before I commit myself anymore harm.
