Saving Me - Poem by Airda Jones

I'm waiting
Sitting here waiting
For you to come
For this pain to be done

I'm losing
Falling behind losing
And I need you to lift me up
Be my strength so I won't give up

I'm hoping
Praying and hoping
That you will come to me
And heal this broken part of me

I'm falling
Slipping and falling
Bruised and hurt on the ground
That's why I need your arms all around

I'm wishing
First star wishing
That you'll always be here
To catch my falls and my tears

I'm breathing
Deep slow breathing
Filling my lungs so full
I can feel it moving in my soul

I'm living
Here with you living
Only because of you
And if you only really knew

That you saved me from
Waiting, losing, and falling blindly
All of my wishing and hoping
Had given you to me.
