Saw A Person Off In The Wuling Peach Garden

★ Saw a Person Off in the Wuling Peach Garden

☆ Poetry by Bao Rong (695? -764? , Tang Dynasty, China)
☆ Translation by Luo Zhihai (1954-, China)

Wuling River trail deep and serene
There are chickens, dogs and families of Qin Dynasty, too
Who were them before we went to see?
Again the Garden Water and peaches in bloom

Note: 'Peach Garden Note' of Tao Yuanming of Jin Danasty recorded and narrated an adventure in mind of a secular fisherman accidentally entered into a place being cut off from the outside world. In this article fantasied a no class, no exploitation, self-sufficient and everyone self-enjoying society. It was a fresh contrast of that dark society. It was an ideal society that people and the author yearned for. It reflected the people's pursuit and yearn. And reflected the people’s discontent and revolt to the reality.
