To make America great
We must first not hate,
We must stop and help and care
Then talk to God in a prayer.
We should not hate the needy and the poor
And not praise those who got more,
To all we must be just and fair
Then talk to God, in a prayer.
We must not think first to carry a gun or a rifle
First we must read and carry a Bible,
And that belief we should all share
And then to the Lord, we say a prayer.
We should proudly feed the hungry
From every city, state and country,
Because, when we do God is there
Then in thanks, we say a prayer.
We must show the world we are a melting pot
With different languages and ancestry and dreams we all got,
Our pride in our country we should share
Then to God, we say a prayer.
We should not be afraid of or hate our neighbors
Because, of their looks or of their labors,
But, with a smile we should greet and not stare
Then unto God, say a prayer.
Was America truly great before
When we had racism, bigotry, mass murders and war,
And no one crosses would we bare
And we forgot our church and prayer.
We should not hate and judge
Because, someone is different we shouldn't grudge,
Remember of the Devil to beware
And remember clasp your hands and say a prayer.
Let's make America great
Before God says it's to late,
Let's look around ourselves and be aware
And then let's help and say a prayer.
