My eyes gaze upon an evening sky
Basking in the colors of Autumn
The sun dances away in a form
So elegant to the naked eye

The colors radiate creation
Of blues and other hues
Ever so tender to the soul
That render my whole complete

It is on days such as these
That cause my soul to reflect
Upon the essentials of meaning
The colors within my young soul

How such will my soul then touch
The ones I love within my sphere
What shall the coming day bring
Besides the news of scarlet
