Photographing Eyes Poem by Cody Marks

Photographing Eyes

Rating: 5.0

My eyes encapsulate many scenes
Passing by in my daily time
There are the treasures I keep
That no one may see like I

When leaves care to dance
And children dare to laugh
When the better of days
Do indeed grow cold again

My memories once more return
To my saved treasures within
That remind me of passing days
And the glory of a sunny day

I think of the memories of those
I love dearly that I sort through
On days when there is nothing more
I gaze at the sky to take shots

Blue skies, jet planes, raindrops,
Gray clouds, passing cars, snow
A child's smile, her tears, pain
All the more I cannot ever forget

These cameras are my perspective
My angle and point of view
It would be wise to consider
What does get in their frames
