Scattery Clouds Poem by Evelyn Judy Buehler

Scattery Clouds

Rating: 5.0

The beautiful, refreshing storm's just now ended,
And the gleaming sun peeks at strawberry fields,
Redbuds dance for joy, for the rain is suspended,
And exquisite birdsong follows the watery ordeal.

And the gleaming sun peeks at strawberry fields,
The zesty lemon clouds have begun their drifting,
And exquisite birdsong follows the watery ordeal.
Misty gloom has vanished, wild spirits now lifting.

The zesty lemon clouds have begun their drifting,
In this emerald world of colorful, fragrant flowers.
Misty gloom has vanished, wild spirits now lifting,
For after the splendid storm, pure beauty follows.

In this emerald world of colorful, fragrant flowers,
Redbuds dance for joy, for the rain is suspended!
For after the splendid storm, pure beauty follows,
The beautiful, refreshing storm's just now ended.
