School Lunch

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Today is Monday, September 1. Today is the first day of September. We hope that your vacation has been enjoyable.
Today is Monday, September 1. Vacation is over. Lunch will be served when the noontime bell rings at noon. Welcome back all students to a brand new week of our exciting curriculum of adventures in learning. All Students of Mr. Bulks Advanced Mathematics Class, Room 221, are reminded to return your Permission Slips for tomorrow's Field Trip to Barstions Mill, where you will each be required to count everything that moves. Today is September 1, Monday, the first day of September. Welcome back Students. We hope you had an eventful weekend. For Lunch today, Mrs. Fieldingfield has prepared a delicious Cabbage Soufflé stuffed with cabbage. The Cabbage stuffing will be made up entirely of Cabbage serenely stuffed. Today is Monday, September 1. Vacation is over. For dessert, Mrs. Fieldingfield has prepared a delicious jello made entirely of the Cabbage that escaped the stuffing. Students in Mr. Bulks Advanced Mathematics Class, Room 221, are reminded that Mr. Bulks Advanced Mathematics Class in in Room 221. Mrs. Klump will not be in today. Mrs. Klump is ill. And the students of Mr. Bulks Advanced Mathematics Class, Room 221, are serenely stuffed.
Tuesday, September 2
Today is Tuesday, September 2. Today is the second day of September. Mr. Bulk would like to thank all the students who returned their permission slips for todays Field Trip to Barstions Mill. The Field Trip has been cancelled. It was recently discovered that Barstions Mill has been condemned for the past ten years by the State Building Inspectors as well as the State Health Department, and declared entirely Off Limits. So, instead of going to Barstions Mill, all students with a valid, signed permission slip will be permitted to go outside for three minutes following the 2 pm bell to count things. Today is Tuesday, September 2. Today is the second day of September. Mrs. Klump will not be in today. For lunch today, Mrs. Fieldingfield has prepared a scrumptiously satisfying meal of Steamed Cabbage Rolls drenched in Cabbage Soup and topped with Cabbage Sprinkles. Our side dish for the day will be Treacle Cabbage Pudding. Today is Tuesday, September 2, and today we shall not be having Roast Chicken, nor Rack Of Lamb, nor Barstions Mill.
POET'S NOTES ABOUT THE POEM
*this write is based, in part, on a school lunch schedule/bulletin my nephew brought home some years ago. It was such a mess I found a wee bit of humor in it.
