Screaming In The Wind - Poem by Nicole Silvia

Bottled, sealed, imprisoned passion
I feel great depth
Where others not a whim
My blazing, crazed, brilliant inferno
Begs desperately
To be turned to a dim

In a world of blacks
Greys to white
I feel like a radiating color-scheme
Overwhelmed by petty monotonous life
I find solace
Only when I dream

My fingerprints
Are all around my workings
I travel deep
Internally, dangerously deep
Into the very core
I see colors where all else sees greys
I fast, then binge, brace, then break
I am the virgin/ whore

Never ending, never wavering
Needy, burning, nagging, passion!
Always seeking
I am emptiness seeking to be filled
Pleading for the anecdote
That will slake my desires
So that this chaos may be stilled

The infamous word
Shrieks in my ears
My species is vast
But I?
Another breed
Left in tears
Tears of fear
Of Loneliness

I am screaming in the wind
I am screaming your name
I am screaming my claim
As it is
In my nightmares
I scream in vain
