Scurrilous Tongue Poem by D.N. Rebb

Scurrilous Tongue

Personality, not for everyone, yet confident
On someone's membranophone, bring own sticks, say what is meant
Opinions challenged, respect but reserved for the dying
As lyrics are written, obviously rough without timing
Those crowded rooms, like Moses parting wasted influence
Then being commended for such fearless self-assurance
The real world is black n' white, we are born and then we're fray
Therefore, pay no attention to the comfortable gray
Fated education is discovered out of pocket
Like a foreign language tempting offers of certain profit
Restrained voices do casually play an integral part
Social interaction balances like modern fine art
Intuitive cognition resembling worthless matter
With assumptions, nothing but hallucinating chatter
Scurrilous tongues incorporate determined negligence
Of which insightfulness first slyly winks, then comprehends
