Sea Or Land - Poem by Hasmukh Amathalal

Sea or land

Old fisherman watches young man
Leaving for high sea in noon
With nets and engine in order
He is now really on looker

The old man smiles
With young man's style
And resolve to catch rich haul
With first journey and call

Yes, he has spent entire years
With no pain or tears
But age has developed fatigue
He is worn out by an age

Yes life must go on
Sea may remain same one
Nature shall provide
All opportunities but you got to decide

Life is not to look back
But go ahead with steps
Whether it is sea or land
Nature has proved always as friend
