Second Fuss Poem by Deluke Muwanigwa

Second Fuss

Second fuss

Zim ready to deal with second wave
So there was a first wave
We were brave
Managed to stave
And save the haves
And poor knaves

I am laughing
I saw the loaving
No social distancing
No masks worn instantly
No water to wash hands
Everything done underhand

Donations from UN stolen
Even from China fallen
Jack Ma did his best
To help in his quest
The stuff vaporized
All cannibalized

So we survived somehow
Very few dying somewhat
Not because of prepadness
Not because of stedfastness
Because we are who we are
The origin of species by far

So i laughed at the news
The unfortunate views
That Zimbabwe was ready for the second wave
How when what who which where was the first wave
We will wear masks
Continue with the Covid tasks

The propaganda
Like in Uganda
Is sickening
The plot thickening
God save us
From second fuss

Sigh. More tunnel vision. Loafing not loaving. Anyway the Queens language is hard.
