Rating: 2.8

Her nails
like little scarlet flames

tapped in time
to the tune playing

scattered over
the evening air

coming to rest
on roses

sleepy with
dusk

the dancing flames
now unzipping &

zipping him playfully
up again

in a delightfully
slow tease

her laughing mouth
hung like a scarlet moon

over the growing landscape
of his jeans.

She puts her left hand
in his right hand pocket

& pulls out
his car keys.

'Let's go for a ride! '
she trills.

'Let's go see
the sea! '
