Seeker Poem by Palitha Ranatunge

Seeker

I am a seeker of love
my paasion for be loved
has been pathetic and sad
I wander among the thickest
human popultion at rush hours
craving for a whisper of love
unto my isolated soul
but I was mocked before my money
no one has responded before my grievance
it is a craving desire to get embraced
softly and slowly with a truest love
Who would tell me its existence?
God himself the claimed creator
of the man, the fruit and the serpant
is jealous on me for my explorations.
why it is so filled with selfishness
and centered around an utmost ego.
if I am to be a hypocrite
I would be happy pretending
myself before any trading love.
