Self Help Poem by Mehta Hasmukh Amathaal

Self Help

Rating: 5.0

The wind blows gently
The fear is felt silently
No one is sure when it will strike
Yet we all try to live and survive

There is visible change
We all have failed to manage
It might have been the same
Yet we relieve and claim

Ego has been there for centuries
And may remain so and vary
Its anger may engulf entire race
To reduce the scope and blacken the face

Nature has changed fully
We have not managed successfully
Now desert witness snowfall
The glaciers melt without summer call

The rivers are in spate
The sea behaves like irate
Everything is for us to witness
To live with tension and distress

Self help is important
That shall never be absent
It may guide the course
There is no scope for curse
