Self Pleaser Poem by Matloob Bokhari

Self Pleaser

SELF PLEASER
O lying hypocrite, wearing spiritual mask
Fond of judging people, ignoring self
Liar, disloyal, jealous and mischief maker
People pleaser, playing religiongame, sick of self love
Your good deeds are with wicked intentions
Preach modesty; live inthe cradle of luxury
Preach mortals fear of hell withimmortal desires
Preachmoralswith life full of immoral luxury
Handsfull of blood, tongue full of violence
Pray for heaven, making world inferno
O vain swindler, preachGod's love, killingHis men
ProclaimGod pleaser, bendHisgospels
Shameless debater, winnerof both sides of coin
Pray with saint; steal with Satan
Your permanent abode is in the lowest circle of hell
My friends, I have learnt this lesson from my life
Drinking wine and praising beauty is far better
Than drinking innocent blood and plucking beauty

'my foot...Sometimes I just feel like if I was in power, I could make a better leader and I will never be a bossy person. Brilliant write, people who write beautiful poetry like this, is what the world needs. :)
Sylvia Frances Chan: xWe prefer to be a believer, than a hypocrite believer. What you have told me in this poetry of you, is absolutely true! You are such an ardent poet, Matloob. Love your view of life in this situation. So true. Sylvia Frances Chan
Hasmukh Mehta: Nice one.. an eye opener...More pleasing. What can be more pleasing?
than teasing self
caring for no one
and reminding everyone
what kind people are we?
physically liberated but mentally not free!
making fool of self and others
by instilling fears
no, we have learnt no lesson
for various reasons
it was never a good intention
but causing further deterioration
we know we are powerless
still present the shameless face
that always caters for duality
with total disregard to an almighty
if men had power to perform miracles!
then why should they struggle?
why not they avail things to themselves?
but innocent are drawn into their games
you find them in our preachers
who try to claim to be in vicinity of super natural power
and offer such an outdated theory
that really sends us to face treachery
