Self Reflection Poem by Albert Caylor

Self Reflection

It's the lonely time of night
Another day done, should I fight?
The feelings that haunt my mind
My heart and soul and what shall I find?

Will I say I had a great day
And will I bow my head and pray?
For a solution, a resolution to my sorrows and doubt
And can I find the strength to rise up and shout?

That I must be me! ...I must carry on!
With love on my side, I'm never alone
We all have doubts, and question our guide
Our God..., our inspiration, ...we should not hide

For only us, our spirits and our soul
Seeking love's help, we shall surely grow
Let us give praise to our guiding power
Thank you, and thank you, for my spirits desire

I must strive for the best that I can be!
Knowing that love is always there for me.
