(senryu-4) May 7th Once More Poem by Bill Galvin

(senryu-4) May 7th Once More

Now a second missed…
Anniversaries no more…
Memories my heart.

Last time, grief was kissed…
Now to open fresh new doors…
Sailing with new charts.

Heart's rise out of mist…
A piece to always be yours…
Life-mode set restart.

One ironic twist…
My new words don't sink, but soar…
Thank you for my ‘art.

Those two years both dragged painfully by and flew astonishingly quick, I'm sure. Wonderful Senryu series, Bill.

Thanks, Kelly. I found the light at the end of my tunnel was NOT a train coming at me.
