Sensational Maze Poem by Lawrence S. Pertillar

Sensational Maze

Step this way.
Step this way.
Come view the new,
Sensational maze.

Open to anyone wishing to enter.
And brave enough,
Not to fear revolving razor blades.

Most of you have requested,
An attraction to erase and eliminate...
A boredom with life.
That has chased you then straps,
You to a lazy malaise.
Step right up.
Enter.
Don't be afraid.
This sensational maze,
Promises to take all your troubles away.

And if you should survive,
The polished and sharp...
Revolving razor blades.
No longer will you trick but treat,
Each Halloween.
Thanksgiving.
Christmas.
And New Year's Eve and day.
To welcome and appreciate.

But first.
Allow the sensational maze,
Test your bravery.
And thirst for life.

If you should exit.
You will have proof,
That God answers prayers.
You will have proof.
Like no one else who fears.
Claiming faith but unused to dare.

"Oh my God.
Never before have I ever experienced,
Anything like that.
I've been saved.
I feel reborn."

It's noticeable.
What a change.
Would you like a towel?
Or a diaper?
