Senses Poem by Michaelpoetry Ryan

Senses

I saw a couple kissing in the street; my heart did long for thee;
I heard a song we loved so much, a simple melody
I felt a raindropp on my cheek, no softer than your kiss.
I tasted candyfloss so sweet; light and pink as lover's lips.
I smelled the rain on new-cut grass; it reminded me of you
as all my senses do sometimes when sensible time is through.
