Sent And Meant Poem by Lawrence S. Pertillar

Sent And Meant

Would it make a tremendous difference,
If we made ourselves...
Committed to the happiness of others.
Knowing what we sent and meant,
Would returned to us to get.
Would the doing of this make a difference.
Would it.

Would this to do make a difference.
A feeling from another to know it felt.
The moment we took,
The opportunity to say or do...
Something done thoughtlessly to care less,
If another was wounded...
To slowly mend if to heal at all.
Would it to do this,
Create one's own downfall.
Not to suspect what was sent and meant.
Was left to brew,
From an intended sending of negative sentiments.
Would it to do this make a difference.
If resentment to send it,
Was a forgiveness instead.

Would it make a difference,
If we committed ourselves...
To the happiness of others.
Stop us from expressing disrespect.
To then not expect or accept it returned.

Would it to do this make a difference.
The wishing to send happiness.
With it sent and meant to do.
Return to us.
Regardless of the he'll others put us through.
Be the difference needed to be made.
Since an escalated hatred,
Has not left anyone to confess...
Their happiness to address it.
Not with all the evil today displayed.
And who is it that benefits from this anyway.
To unconsciously send their sentiments.
Meant.
But unprepared to receive,
Or pay...
For the consequences of their intentions.
Sent and meant to them returned.
