Separating Self - Poem by RoseAnn V. Shawiak
Suggestions abounding, coming from all directions,
people not minding their own business, just inter
fering in other's lives.
Separating self from their incessant judgments and
opinions, looking within for the peace I know I'll
find there.
Stepping away from the table of humanity, finding
my way through jungles of their illusions and lies,
ending up on the side of goodness, truth and honesty.
