Sequoia Tree. Poem by Tom Allport

Sequoia Tree.

If only i'd read
What Kipling said
In order to be a man
Be the best you can
If only i'd took on board
The pen is mightier than the sword
And where there's a will
There's always a way still
If only I'd not partaked
What Kipling exceedingly baked
I would not be
As wide as a Sequoia tree.

I like how this poem relates to a great poem: 'If'!

The pen is mightier than the sword as it wins the heart not the lifeless lands.
